NOTE: Effective 07/01/04 on all construction projects there will be a non-refundable fee charged for plans and specifications in the amount of $26 for projects estimated to cost up to $100,000 and $52 for projects estimated to cost beyond that amount. Cash, or business, cashier's, or personal check, or credit cards will be accepted as payment (currently only Visa and MasterCard are accepted). A copy of the solicitations posted will be available for review at City Hall. Please contact the Purchasing Division for details.

The Conference shall begin promptly at 11:00 p.m. and shall be held at City of Palo Alto Utilities Department, 1007 Elwell Court, Palo Alto. The Conference is mandatory. All prospective Bidders must attend.
The estimated cost of construction is $200,000.
The City of Palo Alto is seeking bids to provide construction services for the installation of approximately 30,000 feet of fiber aerial duct, including all incidental and related work as required by Construction Documents herein (Project).
The Bidder to whom the Contract will be awarded must, at the time of bid submittal, possess current license in the following classification issued by the California State Contractors License Board: Class A (General Engineering) or C-7 (Low Voltage). Bidder’s subcontractors must also be properly licensed.
Note: Contract must demonstrate references showing a history of working on overhead pole fiber installation; include five (5) recent projects (within three years) demonstrating experience with outside plant fiber installation. Referenced projects must be $100,000 or greater.

RFP150237 - Gas and Electric Regulatory Consulting Services The City of Palo Alto is seeking proposals from qualified firms to secure the services of a consultant(s) to assist the City of Palo Alto (the City) with technical, regulatory and legislative support in the energy (gas & electric) fields. The services will be provided by the consultant(s) on an as requested basis, when the need for services is determined by the City. The scope and the fee for each task assigned will be negotiated between the consultant(s) and City staff. The contract period will be for one year with the City’s option to extend the contract annually for up to two additional years, subject to Council approval of sufficient funds.
The City will select up to four consultants to retain the required combined expertise in the Contract Scope tasks. A consultant may respond to this RFP by proposing to perform one or more of the tasks in the Contract Scope.
