The PCC was established in 2009 to address the growing number of concerns that Peninsula cities had regarding HSR and its potential impacts. The six member cities of the PCC areAtherton, Belmont, Brisbane, Burlingame, Menlo Park, and Palo Alto. The PCC has been open in their invitation to other cities along the Peninsula to join the organization.
The PCC holds regularly scheduled meetings on the first and third Fridays of the month (with some exceptions) from 8:15-10:15 AM. The location of the meetings rotates every three months between the five member cities. Click here to view a schedule of upcoming PCC events including meeting times and locations.

As stated on the PCC website “although each city faces unique and specific location challenges, all Peninsula cities share many similar concerns and the strong underlying belief that particular care must be taken to integrate high speed rail into the living fabric of the Peninsula.”
