Significance

Since $9.95 billion in funding was approved for High Speed Rail (HSR) by California voters in November 2008, a number of pieces of legislation have emerged seeking to regulate the California High Speed Rail Authority (CHSRA) in its implantation of this project. There are a number of different pieces of legislation related to HSR in the works at any given time.
